Twitter temporarily renounces deleting inactive accounts.

Twitter announced that the deletion of inactive accounts would be postponed until the company found a way to turn the missing person accounts into virtual steles.

Twitter waved the web at the beginning of the week by announcing the systematic deletion since December 11 of inactive accounts for more than six months.

People who have lost loved ones to Twitter have expressed concern about losing track of their digital existence. The company has turned around this Wednesday, waiting to find a way to turn the accounts of deceased in places of virtual memory.

The Twitter team also said that the policy on inactivity should only be implemented in the European Union, a point that had not previously been mentioned.

Recognizing an omission on his part, Twitter knows that other social networks already have the means to honor the memory of the missing.

In addition to turning personal pages into a page in memory of the deceased, Facebook has a section "Tribute" since April. Separated from the timeline, it offers families and friends a place to share stories and memories.

Twitter has not yet revealed what form would take the memorial transformation of a micro message account.
